RemoteSolace, based in Moruya, New South Wales, runs remotesolace.com. These terms cover every visit to the site and every message you send us through it. By using the site you accept them; if you do not, please leave the site.
The terms are the same no matter how you found us, whether through an ad, a search result or a link from someone you know.
“RemoteSolace”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean our business. “You” means anyone visiting the site or applying. “Employer” means the business that provides the work and pays for it.
We are a recruitment and introduction service, not an employer. Reading the site or contacting HR does not make you a RemoteSolace employee and does not create an employment contract with us.
The roles described on the site are home-based positions provided by independent employers. Availability changes often, and a role can be filled or adjusted before we arrange an introduction.
The descriptions give a general picture. HR explains the details of each role, and the employer confirms them, so small differences between employers are normal.
Being introduced does not guarantee a role. Each employer makes its own hiring decision.
You apply by messaging HR on WhatsApp. HR answers your questions and explains what comes next. WhatsApp only sends a message after you press send. If you cannot use WhatsApp, email careers@remotesolace.com and we will carry on by email instead.
RemoteSolace will never ask you to pay an application fee, buy credits or coins, top up any balance, pay to unlock work or pay to have wages released. If someone asks you for money and says they are from RemoteSolace, they are not, and we ask you to report it to us.
Rates, hours and other conditions are decided by the employer. Before you start, ask the employer to give you in writing its legal business name, what the work involves, the rate of pay, the expected hours and when you will be paid.
We try hard to keep the website, our adverts and our messages saying the same thing. If you notice an advert that does not match the site, tell us and we will fix whichever one is wrong.
How we look after personal information is explained in our Privacy Statement.
Do not misuse the site, try to bypass its security, copy it in bulk with automated tools, or use it to send spam or harmful material.
Do not pretend to be someone else when contacting us, and do not try to collect information about other applicants. We may end contact with anyone who is abusive towards our team.
The words, images, design and photographs on this site belong to RemoteSolace or are used under licence. You may view and share pages for your own non-commercial use.
Some parts of our service depend on outside providers such as WhatsApp and Cloudflare. Their own terms apply when you use them, and we have no control over how they run.
When the site links to an outside service like WhatsApp, we are not responsible for what that service publishes or how it behaves. Please read its policies before giving it any information.
HR answers messages as quickly as it reasonably can on business days. Around public holidays or very busy weeks a reply can take a little longer. We ask that messages stay polite, and we will always be polite in return.
We aim to keep the site working well but cannot promise it will always be available or free from errors. We may change, suspend or remove parts of it at any time.
Nothing in these terms takes away rights under the Australian Consumer Law that the law does not allow to be excluded.
To the extent the law allows, RemoteSolace is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or from decisions made by employers. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to supplying the service again.
Ideas for improving the site or our process are always welcome. We may act on feedback without owing you anything for it, and we will not publish your name alongside it unless you agree.
We fix mistakes on the site as soon as reasonably possible. An obvious mistake does not bind you or us.
Please give us accurate information, let us know if your contact details change and read any offer carefully before you accept it.
You are responsible for keeping your phone and WhatsApp account secure, for the device and internet connection you use, and for any tax owed on what you earn.
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by things beyond our reasonable control, including outages at the services we rely on.
You can stop dealing with us at any time by telling HR or sending an email. We may stop an application if the information provided is false or the role has closed. Terms intended to survive, such as the limits on liability, continue to apply.
If a court decides any term cannot be enforced, the rest of these terms still apply.
These terms, together with our Privacy Statement and our Applicant Safety & Compliance page, are the complete agreement between you and RemoteSolace about the site.
These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, and you and RemoteSolace accept the jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
